Delete your Almuhajir account

You can delete your Almuhajir account and the personal data linked to it at any time. Deleting is permanent.

In the app

1. Open Almuhajir and go to Profile.
2. Tap Settings, then Delete account.
3. Read what will be deleted, type DELETE, and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email us from the address you use to sign in to Almuhajir:

What is deleted

• Your profile, name, email address and phone number.
• The scholars you follow, your saved items, reactions, bookmarks and reading progress.
• Your notifications and notification settings.
• Questions you asked that have not been answered yet.
• Audio and books downloaded on the phone you delete from.

What stays

• Answered questions that were published stay in public Q&A, without your name.
• Content you published for a School as a scholar or media team member stays with that School, no longer linked to you.
• A record that an account was deleted, without your name, email or phone number.

Backup copies held by our providers are overwritten within 30 days. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Only Super Admin?

If you are the only Super Admin of Almuhajir, make someone else Super Admin first, then delete your account.
